Our hunting season started last Sunday!



On 03 November our hunting season started. I took Beau and Titan to the first hunt where we hunted together with Darcy (Khyannes Flocon de Neige) and Vincent (Khyannes Glacier
de la Vallée). All dogs worked hard and well and altough we are only allowed to shoot wild pheasant cocks, jackals, foxes and jays, we ended up with a fox, 5 pheasants and a jay
at the end of the day. :-)

Success in Canada - 20.10.2013

We got superb news from Canada where one of our puppies, Khyannes Infinity 'Fantasia' lives. She was Best Bitch and Best of Breed at a show where 3 Braques d'Auvergne were entered. Then she was placed second in the gundog group.


She is only 8 months old!

On 31 August both TITAN and FELICE successfully passed the Water-Field Trial
in Győr-Vámosszabadi organized by the Hungarian Short-haired Vizsla Club.
With this working certificate both of my dogs are entitled to wear the INTERCHAMPION CIB title. Titan also passed the VAV exam (Hunting licence) here.

Ruuti's success in Finland

Khyannes Gemme Bleue 'Ruuti' was CAC, BOB last weekend in Finland.
It was his last CAC for his Finnish Champion title but first he needs a working
certificate so he will be involved in work from now on.
2 weeks later he passed the water test that is needed for his working certificate.

Superb news from Leon again!

On 01 June 2013 Khyannes Heritage de Titan 'Leon' Braque d'Auvergne got FIRST place
out of 18 dogs (GSPs,hungarian vizslas, cesky fouseks, musterlanders, weimaraners)
on a blood-tracking competition in Bernolakovo, Slovakia with full 4 scores!
I AM OVER THE MOON and I am so so so proud! You proved that this rare breed is
just as good as the other well-known gundog breeds.
Only Leon got full scores and he is only 15 months old who got his working certificate
only a month ago at his first Field trial where he ran 14 points, very good.

An incredible week behind us!

On 20 April I could not take my own dogs to Martonfa to the working exam because
I led a labrador retriever at another working exam in Babatpuszta. It was hot as hell
but we passed the working exam and since the result was over 75%, the dog also became Hungarian Champion too. :-)
My mobile phone rang on my way home and to my biggest happiness
I got good news of Lili (Khyannes Élysée de Desir) who also earned her working certificate this Saturday at the Field Trial in Cegléd, Hungary that was organized by the Pointer Club.
On her first competition she ran 9 points, GOOD.

But this was not the end...on April 24 in Slovakia, Khyannes Heritage de Titan 'Leon'
ran 14 points, VERY GOOD at a CACIT Field Trial. What makes this more special
is that Leon is only 13 months old and it was his first run as well.

You made me incredibly happy and proud Peti and Jocski.

Khyannes Heritage de Titan 'Leon'

The months November-December-January-February are about hunting for us.
We go to hunts every weekend, some raised pheasant and wild duck hunts but mainly to typical hunts for wild animals. Graphite and Odette have been participating in our hunts since November and I am totally satisfied with them. They retrieve birds and had some very nice pointings. Titan joined us in December and since then he is also in our hunting team. I like his work better and better day by day. Baby Ruby was also with us once, however, she did not really know what was going on, she preferred running after the big dogs. :-)
Beau is still a great hunter. He is a typical hunter's dog. He hates artificial things,
hunting exams but if we go hunting he can't stay at home. :-))
It is additional pleasure for me that we hunt with Darcy and Vincent every weekend.
They were born in my kennel. Darcy's work is superb, I can already see his father,
Beau's hunting style in him. Vincent is very promising too but he is a young dog,
Odette's brother and he still has a lot to learn.:-)
